Green Gold Forestry Limited (GGF) is a UK sustainable forest products company with operations in Peru. Founded in 2007, we produce a wide variety of exotic hardwood timber for domestic and international markets. GGF is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council for Chain of Custody and Forest Management (FSC CU-FM/COC-814849). We are committed to the highest standards of environmental and social sustainability and work with NGOs, including World Wildlife Fund and Rainforest Alliance, to ensure that our operations meet international best practice criteria. GGF owns its forest concessions in the Loreto region of north-east Peru. These are managed using low-impact and sustainable practices. Our new sawmill is located at Iquitos, a city of 370,000 people on the River Amazon.
