Buying trees : benefits

A profitable investment which gives you peace of mind

There are three reasons to buy trees with Green Gold Forestry:

Timber has consistently proven to be a profitable investment. Over the years it has out performed many of the traditional investments but rarely appears on the investment radar for the small investor. This may be because it has often been necessary to make large investments or because the returns don't suffer from the fluctuations of typical investments like shares or metals. Our projections mean that you can expect a 12% return per annum on your investment.

As well as making a very exciting return on your investment there are many other reasons to buy trees.

  • Sustainable Development: Trees grow and can be replaced. With adequate management there is no need for the world's forests to be depleted. Your investment will have minimal impact on the environment and will have a positive effect on the locality and the world at large.
  • Environmentally friendly: By planting trees we are putting back something and helping to restore the natural balance, which mankind has been destroying for so many years. You will be helping to redress this balance by increasing the area available for trees, plants, birds, animals and insects.
  • Carbon footprint: Carbon in the atmosphere is recognised as one of the main causes of climate change. Trees absorb carbon dioxide, hold the carbon and release the oxygen. By planting trees you are doing something to help in offsetting your family's carbon footprint.
  • Poverty alleviation: In the area of Peru where we are working there is a great need for jobs. The process of planting is done by traditional methods, which requires labour. You can help provide many families with an income and, in turn, assist in the development of the area.
  • Social projects: GGF is committed to local projects specifically targeted at children. Health and education are our priorities. Your participation will help us provide more assistance.
  • Reforestation: GGF undertakes to reforest naturally one hectare of land for every hectare of trees that we plant for our clients. This means that we will return land to its natural forest state. In addition to knowing that your investment is doing so much good you will also be part of a project with much greater impact: the reforestation of the Amazon jungle.
